The Young Author Project was created in 2023 by a group of 8 superstar students and 1 busy teacher. In their own ways, each student demonstrated outstanding work ethic and talent while in class in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening – so much so that one day, the teacher thought it’d be a great idea for them to write and publish an original novel. They all loved the prospect, so that’s exactly what they did. After meeting at their local public library almost every Saturday for a year and three months, they completed the manuscript, got it professionally edited, and launched their book on August 1, 2024. The next novels are already in the works, and so are new opportunities for new young authors to be minted before they graduate high school.
